Just hit 69,000 miles this morning. In a month I will have had it for 3 years. I'll probably hit 72,000 by then.

The GT has no external amp on the base or the nav. Both radios have the amp integrated in the head unit.

I believe this is correct as it's what I did too based on the instructions given by CRC. You just take off the intake hose and then make sure the red tube from the can is past the point you indicated with B.

Thanks for the review, justink! You've convinced me that it's not worth it to upgrade. The software on my '14 has all of that functionality built in already, so it would probably just be a map upgrade for me. Since I almost never use my nav and use my phone instead, I'll leave it as is!

If that were the average, there would be no leasing. And judging by the amount of expensive cars on the road, at least in my area, there's a lot of leasing going on.

Okay, so then next question is - how easy/hard is it to access on the GTs? I wouldn't mind doing it myself if it can get at it fairly easily to save money on the labor.

This is really the issue, and I think it's just lazy on Hyundai's part. If they were just wired to come on together the problem would be solved. Maybe they thought the moon would shine in through that nice big glass roof they gave us... ;-) And yes, get LEDs. Helps a little. And then when...

I figured this would be the consensus. Like Tiger-Heli said, I thought it was WAY too early. But that just mirrors all the other outdated intervals that my dealer recommends.

Sadly, you don't. Quite an oversight in design by Hyundai, in my opinion. The backseat is like a black hole at night - can't see a **** thing!

I took the airbox off and sprayed just behind the sensor. It was pretty easy and, in my opinion, worth it to avoid a code.

I've only done it once so far, at about 50,000 miles.
