This is the one I have been passing around.

Do yourself a favor and replace those bulbs with a 2357r Zevo red led bulb. They come with a lifetime warranty (register them after buying) and they don't produce much heat at all. I have had them on my car for over 3 years and they're still perfect...
  4. best Best Headlight bulb for Sonata y20 2012 limited

    YF (2011-2014) Sonata/i45
You would be converting to HID which is much brighter than a standard halogen bulb. It's worth it because it changes the look of your car and also helps provide more safety in the form of throwing more light down the road.
  5. best Best Headlight bulb for Sonata y20 2012 limited

    YF (2011-2014) Sonata/i45
Stay away from LED, go with a H7B hid bulb and 35w ballast with a relay kit. H7B will flip the bulb and keep that ground wire shadow out of the headlights output. Use 35w since we have seen 50w hid kits burn the reflective coating on the stock Hyundai projectors. Use a relay harness to protect...
  6. Door locks not working

    YF (2011-2014) Sonata/i45
I had the exact same issue, it ended up being my door lock actuator. I noticed when I would lock the car with the remote it wouldn't beep or flash the lights. If I manually locked the door it would beep and flash lights. Same thing with unlocking, I could unlock the car with the remote but the...
  7. Does anyone know what happened to Xenonsupply?

    YF (2011-2014) Sonata/i45
They're long gone. They went bankrupt due to their 100% customer satisfaction model. They had decent products but their price as just too high compared to the top of the line Morimoto kit. About 6 months after they closed someone bought their site and left it just as it is. Though instead of...
  8. 2014 Sonata LED Tail Light Problems

    YF (2011-2014) Sonata/i45
I understand that, but honestly it's not as big of a problem as you make it out to be. You could also send the tail light out to be repaired (I know a guy who does retrofits that could probably fix the issue). I could also probably find someone close to where you live that can help you put...
  9. What Did You Do To Your Sonata Today?

    YF (2011-2014) Sonata/i45
**** that sucks. The symptoms of a bad ewga is boost issues. Either not having boost or having intermittent problems with boost. Sometimes you can adjust the ewga to get it back to spec, but sometimes the plastic gears on the inside get damaged and the whole ewga must be replaced.
  10. 2014 Sonata LED Tail Light Problems

    YF (2011-2014) Sonata/i45
You can replace it with any of the other tail lights out there. There are 7 or 8 different versions you could use. All that matters is the size of the tail light, and since you have a YF we know that anything from 2011-2014 will fit your car. You could even replace them with the Hybrid...

    YF (2011-2014) Sonata/i45
Yup I'm over 151K now, the only things that have failed on the car was the inhibitor switch for the trans, the exhaust wastegate actuator (ewga), and the drivers door lock actuator. I've replaced them all in my driveway. I've been tuned since July 2016 (over 100K miles ago) and have had full...
  12. 2013 Sonata GLS driver door outside handle

    YF (2011-2014) Sonata/i45
So I'm guessing you need a new door lock actuator. Take the door apart again, there are 2 plastic inserts that you need to remove. Pop those out and roll down the window until 2 brass bolts line up with the holes. Loosen those bolts (don't remove them) and then pull the glass out the top of...

  14. 2011 Hyundai Sonata 2.0T Oil

    YF (2011-2014) Sonata/i45
Well that's not right, someone must have put the wrong cap on. I hope you're not using 5w20 in a 2.0T, that will for sure cause bearing damage. The correct answer is 5w40 full synthetic, 5w30 is fine for when it's new but the closer it gets to that oil change interval the more it gets diluted...
