Name one change you would make to your Sonata?

I know this is two things but:

Change the back end on the 2018.

-- Give the Limited the duel exhaust and have the trunk look like the 2015's.

Definitely the headlights. They are just terrible, and I’ve already replaced the halogen bulbs with LEDs.

*generic catchy saying*

The center armrest/storage is too far back. I have to stick my elbow straight up between the seats and awkwardly pull because of the seat to open it and reach in & out.

More sound deadening. I don't know if it's the tires or just too little soundproofing, but my 2008 Malibu was like a Lexus in comparison. But I love getting 35-40 MPG vs the 25 I used to get and things like Android Auto.

In all 2.0T a better transmission, 8 or 10sp with better "shiftronic" characteristics - faster shifts, hod gear in manual mode to redline etc like Infiniti, Lexus BMW, Porsche etc. or a Dual Clutch. The Hyundai dual clutch in the 1.6 T(201 hp) Elantra is what makes it as fast as 2.0T Sonata.

The G70 with the 2.0T is rear wheel drive with an 8 speed and it is a much tighter and faster shifting transmission. But it is my understanding it is the same internals as the Sonata / Optima so maybe better programming for shift points , response?

Obliviously they are not the quality of a lux sedan (MBZ,Lexus, Infiniti) but I found in my 2017 that the OEM tires were a lot of the noise.

I did not change them until they were worn out at about 50,000 but I immediately noticed that the car was quieter when I left my tire shop and hit the 5 miles of freeway home. It has stayed more quiet for the past 15,000 miles than it was with the OEM Kumos

Which tires did yours come with? Ive actually been pleasantly surprised with how quiet the 2018 2.0T is road noise wise. It does come with some pretty nice tires though and that makes a huge difference on road noise.

Mine has the Kumho Solus TA31. When it's time for replacement I'll be going with something much nicer. I've kind of figured that those might be the source of a lot of the noise as I was coming from Michelin Defenders on my previous car.
