Cvvt Cover Plur Install Tool

My car is throwing the P0010 code. From all my research I need to replace the cvvt rubber plug but I need the Cvvt Cover Plur Install tool, part# 09243-C1000, to do so.

I have looked everywhere and can't find it. My local dealership can't get it. Everywhere online that claims to have it says it is backordered when I try to place an order for it.

Does anyone have this tool that I could buy from them or even borrow. I would be than willing to pay for shipping it.

Take digital caliper and visit dealer with something to trade,, doughnuts in morning works great for me,, ask to look at tool for measurements,, then whip one up with a lathe and piece of scrap stock

I think OTC is supplier to Hyundai,,, dont know why parts dept cant order through the pipeline..

Their website says they do. But when I tried to order it they said it was on backorder indefinitely.

wasn't it replaced or uprev'd by c2000????

Motto for advice giving on a forum: You can lead a horse to water, but you can't make it drink.

Sad country is where most neutered men can't change a tire or use a tire PSI gauge, can't check their engine oil or even pop their hood.

TrollBots are everywhere. Paid trolls are easy to spot in the 'off topic' forums everywhere.

Those who say it cannot be done, should not interrupt the person doing it.

I've seen that part in my searches. But it usually says it's for Kia. I know Hyundai and Kia are pretty similar. Would that work for Hyundai? It's a lot more expensive too.
