Servicing confusion

Just servicing my sons i20 1.2 Active 2013 and a bit confused by a few things - any advice greatly appreciated. The car has only done 42,000 miles so I'm following the time intervals rather than milage intervals (72 month - 6yr service).

1) Manual says to replace spark plugs (every 2 years or 25,000 miles). Autodata says to use Champion RER8YC but the car currently has Champion RER8WYPB4 which appears to be an upgraded iridium version. I can't find these for sale anywhere in the UK (don't really want to pay dealership prices) so should I just revert to the RER8YC standard nickel plugs?

2) Manual says that the coolant should have been replaced at the last service (5years) but Autodata says it should be replace this service (6 years). The car has green coolant but euro car parts list it as pink or orange (which I think are OAT coolants) the manual is non-specific and simply says to use ethylene glycol. Does it need changing and if so what coolant should I be using?

3) Both the manual and Autodata say that the fuel filter needs changing (6 years or 72,000 miles). Euro car parts don't list a filter and says it is a lifetime filter.

4) Autodata says that the gearbox oil should be changed (6years or 72,000 miles), Manual says gearbox oil should be changed at 80,000 miles but only if the car is used "under severe driving conditions", otherwise no renewal period is specified.

Why isn't anything ever straight forward?

1. Do more research
2. Replace coolant with the grade recomended in the manual
3. Replace filter
4, Replace at 80k

Forget what autodata says .Go with the manual

It is straight forward, if you read only the manual.

1. Helpful...! I've already spent hours searching.
2. Not sure what you mean by "grade" but green seems to be a basic ethylene glycol so will stick with that. I've syringed a bit out and it looks clean as a whistle, so I suspect it was probably changed last year as part of the 5 year service (per the manual). All services to date have been dealer services so should have been changed, but will change it anyway just to be sure.
3. It seems that the filter is inside the petrol tank and part of the fuel pump and fuel level indicator assembly. Seem a bit OTT to replace the whole assembly despite what the manual says. The manual is a bit inconsistent because although the service schedule for petrol engines says to replace the fuel filter at 6 years, the narrative later in the manual only refers to fuel filters for diesel engines.
4. That would be my inclination, despite what the manual says.
