Diesel injection pump timing

I have a 1999 Hyundai Galloper 2.5TD (TCI) fitted with a D4BH engine.
I am checking the injector pump timing.
It states that it should be set at 9 degrees ATDC but doesnít state what the reading the plunger gauge should be.
Some engines are set at 7 degrees ATDC and the plunger gauge needs to be between 0,97 - 1,03mm
Can you tell me what mine should be set at please.
Thanks

They never sold the Galloper here in the UK so I don't have any info on it.

But the Galloper is basically a rebranded Mitsubishi Shogun/Pajero which was sold in the UK.
The timing values for the pump on the Mitsubishi engine (D456) are the same as you have posted....9 degrees ATDC & 0.97~1.03mm

Thanks

Thanks for your quick reply Autosparks.
Does this forum cover all of Europe.
The Galloper was sold in many countries within Europe so Iím hoping someone may reply from there.
Thanks again.
