2.2 CRDi to 2.0 CRDi engine swap

Hello all,
I have a 2007, 2.2 CRDi out of my Santa Fe that blew up and I have access to a low-mileage 2008, 2.0 CRDi out of a Tucson. I am wondering if the short blocks are interchangeable? The head gaskets are identical as far as bolt alignment, water jackets, etc. I am planning on swapping the relatively new head and larger turbo off the 2.2 on to the 2.0.
Other than the .2 liter difference, does anyone know of any interchangeability problems?
I live in Panama and replacement engines/short blocks seem to be non-existent.
Thank you for any help, Jim

I suspect the difference in the sizes of the pistons & cylinders might pose a problem.

Thank you for the reply Autospark. I have re-posted this in the "Diesel" forum.
