I've never been impressed by the Blue Link app since 2015 when I purchased my Sonata. The non response and time lag was awful, I contacted Blue Link so many times, I gave up and never subscribed after the free year ended. I was hopeful it had been improved when I purchased my 2019 Santa Fe, but nope, same laggy/non response issues still happening. We had a huge Blue Link issue happen with my Santa Fe in April. My hubby drove it to another part of our farm and I didn't realize he took the Santa Fe. I wanted to start it to warm up, so I remotely locked it and sent the start command. A couple minutes later he called saying the key was locked inside the running Santa Fe. It wouldn't let me unlock/stop remotely, so I had to go with the spare key and unlock it. I called my sales guy and he had never heard of this happening, he said don't bother calling Blue Link, he was going to put in a support request with them.
