2019 santa fe HID conversion

So I'm new to here, and am planning on picking up a 19 santa fe SEL this coming weekend. The first thing I want to do is a hid conversion. Yes, I've tried searching the forums here, actually read everyone for this model, but cant find too much info on this. I've done this to other cars I've had but am struggling finding much info for this model. If anyone has done this, what is the bulb size of the low beams, hi beams and fogs? Did you need a relay connector? Do you need a error eliminator module, and if so which one? And lastly, is the plastic used for the housing too soft on the santa fe to run 55w HIDs? Thanks in advance.

Popped up quickly with a "headlight" search

To each his own, but I don't understand why you wouldn't just put the money towards a higher level trim with led lights. You get the extra features and better resale. A conversion will be worth zero on resale. I looked into doing HID conversions when they weren't widely available in the early 2000's, but I buy the trim level now with the lights I want.

Good luck with it and post some pics.

The difference between a SEL and Limited is appx $4000 - if all you want is a HID swap and am happy with a SEL. Wouldn't it make more sense to pay less than $150 for a swap instead of spending an additional 4K and getting the extras that you may not need / want?
