Has anyone purchased and installed these tail lights or something similar? How have they lasted? Any issues with moisture? What additional wiring is needed.

I've had a non-smoked set of these for almost 2 years now, and have no issues so far. I would caution you not to over-tighten the mounting nuts, and after a couple months of use, you might want to make sure the nuts haven't loosened up.
Based on own personal experience I would recommend these lights to anyone.
They seem to be Superlux. I bought the same kind on my Elantra about a month and a half ago and so far no issues, they seem to be a little less bright than OEM Mobis, and they tend to condensate a little bit over the edges under heavy rain (I guess they're not a 100% sealed) and dry up quickly but aside from that they're ok. Mine already came with all the extra wiring you'll be needing. I had everything worked out under the thunk lid cover. Same vendor btw.
I am assuming you had to tap into the existing brake wiring. Was there any other wiring or re-pinning that was required? Could you upload any pictures of the harnesses/ your wiring job?
I have these lights. Had them for over a year and no issues. Seller stated they were plug and play and they weren't. I removed the stock connectors from the original lights and removed the connectors from the new lights. Repinned them and now they work fine.
The following pics are the connectors that the new lights had prior to repinning them
I've never had to re-pin. Is it difficult? How do you know which pin needs to go where? I'm not a big fan of using the stock connectors as I would like to sell the stock tails to recoup some of the cost for the new lights.
Are these the ones off ebay that you actaully bought? Between the two pictures, the EBAY sale looks like you can see each LED diode. Your photograph looks like a much smoother light (i like that better). These look like a very nice light. Are the trunk lights the reverse lights?
Haha yeah! Probably me. Drive it every day. Live in SLP work in Wayzata. I may be making a nice purchase here soon. Those are pretty lights. I am a little afraid of the once in the OP as I am not sure what the connectors are like...
Do you have any more pictures of the lights on w/ no brake lights, lights on with brake lights engaged, lights on with signal on, lights on with reverse?
Those are not my pictures. Those pictures belong to RichB. I mentioned that on my post. I did no splicing on my wires whatsoever.
I only repinned them as I have mentioned in my previous posts.
Purchased these yesterday! Was able to negotiate with the seller and they will be here midday today. Great service! Hoping to see if the trunk light actually has a light in it or not. Maybe it can be wired up to function. If not, no big deal. Oem lights are like that already, and I can't see my rear anyways.
Let me know if you've had experience with these lights.
