Could you further elaborate what they are saying to avoid in this picture? I am hoping to get some headlights from Yefeng and want to understand the removal process.

That's where the bumper clips to the headlight. When the headlight on my car was replaced while back the guy at the body shop didn't have to remove the entire bumper to swap the driver side headlight. All he did was turn tires to the right, remove the bolt found in the fender well, popped out the bumper, then removed a few of the screws located on top of grille and the top bolt that holds bumper up and he pulled back the bumper and it snapped out. He then removed the 3 bolts to the lights plus wiring and headlight assembly came out. All while front bumper was still partially on the car.

Very nice write up. The OEM service manual (which I found) does not even really address those tabs on the side!

Thanks!

Pulled mine off for the first time a month ago. I know people have issues with getting the 3 tabs off on each side. I read that some people suggest using a popsicle stick. I did not find this helpful at all as it was too thick to fit between the fender on the bumper cover as well as it was a bit flimsy. I used a butter knife. It is thin and it has the firmness to pop the tabs. I did this fairly carefully as I did not know what I was diving into. I had no issues at all. Was a really simple process.
