So I went to the dealer for the regular Oil change on my 2011 Ltd Turbo and since it would take 2 hours to service the car the dealer took me home (25 miles); drove me in a nice 2014 fully loaded Santa Fe Extended version, cool bottle of water on at 100F day, etc.. Service was great.
Later I received a call from them letting me know that they will replace the coupling for the Motor Driven Power Steering since during inspection they noticed a thud while turning the wheel.
In the last weeks I had noticed a small thud too when turning the steering wheel, didn't pay too much attention to it as the car performed just fine.
Dealer replaced the part under warranty (car has 70K+ miles) and after the synthetic oil change and coupling replacement the car feels great.
Dealer service was excellent and even pick me up at home so I could retrieve my car, that was 50 miles round trip and I waited at the comfort of my home while the car was in service.

I learned my lesson and will take the car to dealer for regular oil change from now on.
Hope this helps to some of the guys who might be experiencing similar thud or clicking while turning the wheel.
