January 2013 rebates

Hello,

Any info if current rebates will continue after Jan 2nd? Or new rebates? Better or worst than current rebates.

Probably gonna be worse. If you're looking for a Sonata, they may not have the $1500 Holiday cash but rather a $500 or $750 rebate.

If you want a good deal, I'd personally wait till the end of March because that's when Hyundai's Fiscal year ends and dealerships REALLY want to move cars.

I currently service Nissan products and I used to sell Nissan, Hyundai, and Kia so please ask me questions if you have any!

I did just that and walked away with a very sweet deal on my 2012. Got all rebates, plus a very low interest rate, double the warranty, free tinted windows, free 3m treatment inside and out, free carwash for life and discounted gas. granted the free carwash and discounted gas is a all year round thing. i.

Currently it is $1500 (finance) +$500(competitive) +$1000 dealer cash

What kind of deal should I expect... The dealer has prepped the car for me. I have not picked up yet. I could wait but dealer will be upset though.

According to dealer, the rebates go away march/april as people get their tax returns back. This made sense at the time to me.

We don't get free Carwash and discounted gas as this is only dealer in this small town

Double the warranty is interesting. Is this only good as long you own the car and good at the dealer you bought it from only - or - through Hundai valid all dealers and transferable.

Do you mind sharing what rebates were end of march last year. Right now I can get Sonata limited MSRP $27K for $21.5K

Go sign the papers now m2k. you're looking at 20% off sticker. You're not getting hurt in any way. If you saved another $100 by waiting a month, would it be worth it? No.

I agree.. even if it was $500, it will not be worth at this price level.

I got a $500.00 rebate, and yes the additional 10 years, 100k miles is thru the dealer. I think you have a avery good deal right now. Good luck

Thanks, it makes me feel better. As I said, it is small town dealer with no competition. I'll ask him about warranty though.

Yeah the dealership I was at in March 2012, we practically gave every car away for cost + cost of adds.

But, like I said, the end of the Fiscal year, dealers are throwing cars away just to reach their goals. I know these rebates were good till today (Jan 2nd) so if you got that deal, take it.
