Smile MODS and more MODS

Guys, my first post here.
Done bunch of mods already on my 2011 Hyundai Sonata GLS.
Got it with 19K miles at a good price, certified, private owned.

I already added the compass mirror ($20 from a junk yard), tinted windows, fog lights with a separate switch, a 5701 Viper remote starter/alarm. NO BYPASS REQUIRED, NO EXTRA KEY REQIERED either.

Changed the speakers but kept the midrange in the front. I tried a set of twiteers but didn't like the sound. I added a sub from a Bazuka with a 10". Took the Bazuka apart, placed the sub by the rear windshield and hide the amp next to the spare tire.

The sound is better but I got a double din radio (pioneer BT3200) that I used on my Scion XB that the Sonata replaced. It will kicked ass.
I'm using the free three month XM suscription for now, just don't like the sound.

I'll love to replaced the rims from a Limited but will wait.

I'll post some pictures soon with the fogs on. I got the from Fleabay for $115 shipt. The install was a breeze. I done so many on different cars.( HYUNDAI 2011 Sonata Fog Light/Lamp LH/RH-(2EA -1set) | eBay

Anywho, any Kool mods you guys know of?
This is a great site, thanks I got so much info already.

Later,

Hey bro, welcome to the forums.

Very detailed first post, thanks for that. I had a question about the compass mirror that you added; how easy was the install? I'm not too good with that stuff but I'm assuming wires were involved?? Can you tell me how long it took and what were the steps you took??

Thanks in advance. Hope to hear from you more on the forums

Compass mirrors are all in one. You just have to pull off the old one and pop the new one on.

Sure thing, the install was very easy, a single screw holds the mirror. To removed the mirror, push/slide the mirror upwards (no pulling)The new mirror came with three wires. After you found a new mirror, let say in the junk yard, look up the model number for the install wiring.
When I go to a junk yard, I look at vehicles like Audi, Volvo or Subarus that most of the time come with a compass mirror.

I used a 7.5 amps fused for the mirror. I used two out of the three wires. One for the accesories power and the other one for the negative. I done the compass mirror mod almost 6 times for diff cars.

Let me know if there is any other question.
Also, when I removed the front bumper to install the fogs, it was the easiest removal I've done. I need to upload some pictures for you guys to see.

I think I got enought blue lights in there, more than a Christmas tree...
I think I'll pass on it.

I'll place some tinted film on the shifter, it is way too bright.

However, when I did the fogs, I should have done the Home Depot mod, to help stop debris hitting the A/C condensor.

I may do the reverse sensors, I done a few of them in the past as well.

The clear bra will work too, for about $30 from fleabay.

I already did some of the debaging.
