|Thank you very much for the information and welcome. I saw the plug and had suspicion that this may be it, but did not want to make assumptions until I knew for sure. I saw someone else posted with a similar question after me so good to know I'm not the only one. By the way, I really love my Sonata and I hope it proves as reliable as my other cars since I like to keep them for a long time.|
I have a 2lt I45 and interested to check the transmission fluid, can anybody help me where to locate the plug to fill in the fluid, I have located the drain plug underneath but have not been able to locate the fill plug.

Thats a good thread! (Had to delete the link since I just joined the site) I used it to change my wifey's trans fluid. Sent the fluid off for testing and the lab said it was good for 70k miles. In that other thread, another guy sent his fluid off for testing and was told his was good for less than 70k miles.
It really makes one wonder why car makers say the trans fluid doesn't need to be changed for 100k miles.
