Hi there,

You are from Malaysia too? I was trying to search for any bodykits here but seems so hard to find it around. Please give me any suggestion besides ordering from Korea due to the price is unacceptable.

Thk!
Hi guys ,Your views and comments have given me much food for thought regarding the Ixion Body Kit from Korea.I sent an e-mail to them
for some specific details and got a specific reply as well. They are cut and dry with their response and dont appear flexible. However,I have
since got some positive feedback from Sime Darby Auto (Sole Distributor of Hyundai for Malaysia) that they are in the process of making available
accessories for the Sonata YF.Contact me at 019-3670057 if you need more info,Gary.

Hello KAI, urgent

As you are aware I am a new member of your establishment.I have placed a booking for the new
Sonata 2.0 High Specs which is fully imported from Korea for the Malaysian market. The new car is
expected to arrive in Malaysia some time in March 2011 ( current year model ).
I have been a member of the Hyundai Forum and have been keeping in touch with fellow members
on the accessories fitted to their cars and on the overall performance of the gar itself.
I am actually very interested in the 2011+ Sonata Ixion Body Kit Type 2 [KYFIBK2] $1,595.00
and would like to order same but before I do,I would like some clarification.

1.Will this Body Kit Type 2 fit the new Sonata (Malaysian Market) which I am purchasing.

2.Does the Rear Bumper Attachment come with two(2) Twin Exhaust outlets as shown in
your product pictures.

3.Will you forward instructions on how to fix the accessories with the product.( DIY )

4.Alternately,have you any KAI product dealers in Kuala Lumpur / Malaysia where this product
is available.

5.Does the price tag of $1595.00 include all freight charges and insurance.

I would appreciate an early reply to enable me to place the order depending on your response.
Any other information which you feel is important will be helpful.

Thank you

I also paid less the what KAI has on their site through another vendor that i use all the time when i had my Gen Coupe.
price was 1344 shipped.

the quality of the Ixion parts are really good IMO i had them on my gen coupe.

10 years ago I would have jumped all over it.. But I prefer stock now . Guess I am old
Count me in that group. Body kit, huge wheels with small tires, lowered, led lights on the underside of the car, riding with the windows up and the subwoofer bumping. All of that just annoys me now. I used to have a sticker on my sub box in my truck when I was 18 that said "If it's too loud than you're too old." LOL, I am too old.

My opinion is that unless your Sonata is going to be an absolute show car, dropping 2 grand on an import body kit, then having to pay anywhere between $500 and up get it prepped, primered, painted and put on your car is just a waste of money. There are little things you can do to your Sonata to made it stand out and look unique without being out that amount of moolah.

However, this is just one person's opinion and personally I wouldn't do it.

Lmao! Yeah isn't it crazy how your taste or wants change as you get a little older! I hate getting old ready!!

Back to the subject, I say **** no! Unless you really have a ton of money that you don't k.ow what else to do with. I mean once you add all the expenses up, it gonna cost waay too much money. And your car will look pretty cool, but it ain't gonna be any faster (it'll actually be slower due to Tue weight) or be worth any more money. Wait for a company around here to come out with a kit. The way these cars are selling there will be some kits available locally I'm sure.

IMHO, after u invest 2-3K in this, give it a year or 2, it will look like **** and you will regret it.
