I just installed the Auto Window kit in my Sonata. I just wanted to share my experience. The whole install took me about 30 minutes. I can honestly say it took me longer to figure out where to mount the module in the door than it took to wire it. The directions are very detailed with photographs, the only recommendation I will make is to have Shark note in their directions where the module should be mounted (it's kind of a tight fit). For $110.00 this is a great little add on. Below are the feature you gain.I am very happy with it and I am also looking forward to my next purchase from them (rear roof spoiler). Thanks Shark!

[b]* One-touch up and down functions for all four windows
* Remote control auto up and down functions - Arm the alarm, and all windows go up. Disarm-arm-disarm the alarm within a space of 4 seconds, and the windows will roll down automatically.
* Simultaneous function - Press the UP button for the driver and passenger side front windows at the same time, and all four windows will go up.
* Emergency stop function - If something gets caught in the window while it is closing, the motor will stop.
* All functions can be disabled by pressing the window-lock button on the driver's side.

Could you explain this more? If you move the front window just a little bit do all the windows move? Do you have to hold the front window switch for xxx seconds and then all windows move?

I want this but this function could end up being annoying.

finally, someone installed this....but, I too, have few more questions before making the purchase.

1) how 'exactly' does the auto up/down feature work? is it only operable from the driver's controls or from all window switches?
2) and along those same lines as above, the driver's switch has a 'detent' in the swtich, whereas the other's do not. this is for the 'auto' feature. how do the other's actually move 'automatically'?
3) does pushing the window lock button disable the driver's window, or just the added features of the relay?

sorry for the questions, but, when you become the 'beta'....you will be asked many questions.

btw....congrats on the successful mod! one i have been waiting on, for someone else to jump in and do it first! thanks

I will check to see if there is a delay before it activates the "all window up" feature.

1) It works similar to drivers window auto up/down. Just push any switch and it will completely either go up or down. I believe if you tap it again it will stop. and Yes it will only have the auto features from the drivers window switch.

2) They are controlled by the module that is installed. It works the same as the drivers detent switch but without the actual detent in the switch.

3) I will check this feature this afternoon and report back.

If I had to think of one down side it would be Don't press unlock-lock-unlock while your car is covered with snow.

Just to give another good chuckle. My director gets a BRAND new Acura RL and takes it to a car wash. Gets overly confused about the window controls and ends up rolling all his windows DOWN during the wash. For as much as he busts my chops I still cant let that one go!

OK if all 4 windows are open and you slightly raise the f/l & f/r at the [b]same time all four windows will raise. No need to hold just tap the 2 front switches to the up position and all 4 will raise.
