We have a 2004 Hyundai Sonata that we purchased in 2004. For the past three years we have had to have the Canister Close Valve and Canister Filter replaced 7 times. We were told that it is because we live on a gravel road and the filter gets filled with dirt. To me, it's rather stupid to place a part like that behind a rear wheel where dust can easily get in it. Is there any way to keep this from happening so often? The warranty pays for having the valve and filter replaced, but it's really a hassle to have to drive an hour each way to the dealership to get it done. In my opinion, this is a design flaw.
