If interested heres a few pictures of a 03 Sonata V6 Timing Belt replaced, pulley marks, tension plunger and easy way to retract the tension plunger. A suggestion here, when you reset the tension plunger slowly turn the vise about 1/8 of a turn at a time to allow the fluid to flow back into the cylinder other wise you may bust the seal when its compelety retracted insert a piece of wire through the holes and reattach. I find it works best when installing the new timing belt to start the wrap above the tension pulley, pull over the L/S camshaft and then use a clamp to hold the belt against the camshaft, then go under the water pump, then over the R/S camshaft and use another clamp to hold the belt, then over the R/S pulley, under the crankshaft and finally your at the tension pulley with all the slacked pulled out of the belt. While holding all the slack out of the belt use your pliers to pull the wire out of the tension plunger,
you may need to help the tensioner out just a little by lifting up on the pulley. You should see the pop out 1/8-1/4in.
