Hi all,
I have a 2002 Elantra GL that occasionally won't start.
It will start then immediately stop.
If I then wait a few minuites without doing anything else, it starts and runs just fine.
It can go days with no problems then out of the blue it won't run.
I have changed the fuel filter and the pump seems okay.
I am a mechanic by trade so no issues with the technical stuff.
Please help.

Check engine light? Spark plugs are a common issue, take off the top cover and make your plugs fully cover the spark plug chambers.

santa06 is an unknown quantity at this point
Check for codes first , to avoid guessing.

CPS crankposition sensor can cause this type of problem and sometimes doesn't store a code.
