I'm trying to change out the speakers in the rear deck of my Elantra, but I don't know how to get to the stock speakers on the deck. My friend is going to be giving me a set of Kicker 6x9's that I'm sure will fit perfectly, but I need to be able to get the old ones out before I can even imagine putting the new ones in.

Ok, so I'm sure this is gonna be astupid question but I'm just making sure. Do I have to actually un-bolt the seats and take them out, or can I just fold them down?

Thanks for the help!

Your trying to get the seat back out of the way of the rear deck. Most Elantras I've seen won't fold down. If yours will fold down, well all the better for you.

Hey dude, you had to remove the seats completely, didn't you? Even though they folded down, right? I was halfway through the project when I decided that it just wasn't worth all the work just to replace the stock speakers.
