I pulled the trigger on a New 2015 Sorento Black/beige leather EX, V6, AWD yesterday. Went for an oil change, with the 2011 Sportage and finally gave in to the SUV I Really wanted. I was tired of getting only 20mpg, or less lately from an uncomfortable, hard riding, sluggish vehicle!
I'm too old, tired, & sickly lately to deal with the Sportage/Tucson twins. Plus, I'm not getting any younger, or richer, and you only go through this life once, so why not?
So far I'm loving it, it's like a night, & day difference! On the way home on the highway, I got 18mpg! With only 25miles on the odometer to start
Plus that big V6 was only loafing. Aside from all the nice extra newfangled options, it drove very Sporty, no swaying, and Smooth, with plenty of grunt for any situation if I needed it, also, a welcome improvement in personal comfort space.
A note here, both vehicles had 18" wheels, but the Sportage had 235/55/18" tires, and the Sorento has 235/60/18" tires, and the Sorento is a Way smoother ride then the Sportage, which was causing my previous car accident injuries to hurt constantly. I actually used to dread going out anywhere in it.
I'll be back on occasion to check things out here, so Happy New Year, & good luck to you all.
