G'day!
Since my earlier posts on this subject, whenever mine decides to turn over and not start, I now jiggle the key in the switch and try again. So far every time it has then started next turn. Exactly why and what will turn this to a permanent solution, I don't know.

I got a exactly the same problem with my accent, will start for maybe 10-20starts after that wont start anymore, engine turns over, no spark on HT wires, pushstart it sometimes will start after pushing in gear, sometimes wont. every other day(specially morning)i will start it for 30starts nothing happens, when the time comes when the car wants to start it will start. I dont know whats going on with this Hyundai cars. I think its most Hyundai cars problems. I always got late at work because of this car, if only i have heaps of money i will buy i nicer car. is there anyone knows how to fix this problem???

I had this same problem with my 2000 accent. Would work fine then all the sudden (usually when hot) it would not start. Changed out the Throttle position sensor and that did not fix it. Changed out the Crankshaft position sensor and Knock on Wood, I have not had a problem in over 2 weeks.
