URGENT!!!

I have a 1999 Hyundai Atoz and the drivers side headlight bulb blew last night.

I have had a look in the manual and it says to disconnect the lamp, then remove the rubber seal.

How do I disconnect the lamp? There is a thick set of cables that go into the back through the middle of the seal and I presume this is what I need to disconnect.

Do I pull it? Do I twist it?

I tried tugging it but nothing happened. Don't want to pull it if something will break!!!

Please help as it is very urgent it gets replaced.

Cheers.

pull the wiring connector from the back of the headlight (the plug can be quite tight so wiggle it as you pull it) then remove the rubber seal away from the light unit, this will expose the back of the bulb which is held in by a wire clip. re-fitting is a reversal of the above procedure

Is there any risk of the wiring connector snapping?

no, just use firm pressure as you pull and wiggle (it's only a pull/push fit)
