I have noticed several references to rear cup holders on the Sonata. Can those that have them tell me what version of the Sonata you have? I am guessing this is a Canadien, American, LX, GL, etc. thing as I have a GLS V6 and do not have any rear cup holders.

I have a GLS V6 also. I don't remember right off, but I think you pull down the center piece of the rear seat and it's in there somewhere.

Hmm, now that is a possibility as ever since I bought the car my son's car seat has been in it covering up the middle seat.

Yep, it's in the pull down center armrest.
At least on my LX it is.

Yes, there are two cup holders in the arm rest in the back seat, our 9 yr old has turned it into his personal storage unit, sunglasses, snot rags, etc. Plus he finds it amusing to remove the rubber liner and play with it. Or annoy me and flip the lid up and down for entertainment.
