At $27,000 I would still get a Sonata. I value a car's looks just as much as, if not more than, the resale value, reliability, etc. Of course, I do take those things into consideration, but a beautiful car with minor problems is more likely to win me over than an ugly car with a perfect track record.

That being said, I think the Sonata is the best looking car in it's class, period. Throw in the smooth ride, powerful engine, and an unbeatable warranty, and what's not to love?

No, I have to say I would have gone with a Camry, or if I could get one without a sunroof, I'd spring the extra 3 grand for an IS250.
