Had a look at one today. Bleck! It looks good, but for the SAME price ($27,500) as our Sonata GLS Premiums, you get steel rims, cloth seats, 148(?)or 158 HP from a 4 banger, no sunroof, and a whole lot of other "missing equipment." I think a spatula for cleaning out the sludge in the engine is extra... HA!

(The new Land Cruiser looked pretty sweet, at $34000!!! ) Probably lacking a bunch of stuff as well. It was too dark to get a good look.

Very happy with the Sonata!

So nice to see Scarlett's boobies haven't been hit by gravity yet, isn't it... SIGH.....

If I'm gonna drop 27 grrr on a mid-sized family sedan, you better bring the cowhide and at least six cylinders.

MOTD, please tell us the TRUTH! Be honest, for a change, and tell us:

If you had to chose between Scarlett and the Sonata LX, which would you chose?

I know what would be MY choice. But I won't tell you.

That all depends for what...
1) For "driving hard"... Scarlett
2) For buffing and polishing... Scarlett
3) For changing oil... Scarlett
4) For showing off to family and friends... Scarlett
5) For crawling underneath "to do work on".. Scarlett
6) If my wife ever reads this post... SONATA! :whistling:

For the same money as a 2007 Camry, I would buy an Azera in a heartbeat.

Not Camry related, but today I saw the first Charger SRT-8 on the road I've ever seen. Holy chit, almost ran off the road.

The new Camry is a ripoff. They have to de-content it so the price can stay "affordable" in comparison to the Sonata. A Camry XLE V6 with leather (that's OPTIONAL mind you) will run you about $30,000. A comparably equipped Sonata LX will be about $5,000 to $7,000 less, have a better warranty, more style, and equal if not better reliability. Chalk up another win for Hyundai. :trophy:
