actually if I was a previous Hyundai owner I would have come out something like this for my LX Base.

19,062
-1000
+ $500 TTL
$18,500 OTD

If I do manage to get the graduate discount it will be

19,062
-400
+500 TTL
$19,162 OTD
Still not too shabby

tyguy that's a good deal. It took me over a month and a half here to find a dealer to finally take more than $1500 off the sticker. Got the LX option 3 for $20500 plus TTL ,around here that was a deal.

Mine was $20,198 (with 2K in rebates) + TTL for a pearl white LX with option 3 (sunroof and upgraded stereo), plus free window tint.
This is in Dallas, TX.

I am brand new to this Forum, and this is my first reply. Yes I read an $18.1K post for a base LX OTD at another discussion group. If I can share my deal with everyone here, perhaps some $$$ can be saved, as I've seen some real mediocre prices listed. I took particular interest to Post # 9 from JCMoya, some very on target advice. I'll spare you with all my individual numbers posted elsewhere at this time.

2006 LX with package 3, 120 Miles, Brand New. One of the 'older' units. Had a few scratches, even rusted Rotors. I live in a swamp, it's horrible. Servicing Dealer replaced Rotors and now my Wheels even look better and shine!.

Price:
One used 2005 Elantra (Automatic w/ CC, 4000 Miles)
One Check for $9350

OTD Price. Still trying to figure out this deal, so was the Dealer?.

Go for Invoice minus all available rebates, and READ POST 9!

I did get the College rebate so the total ended up being $18662 for a Base LX with HMFC Rebate and $1000 V6 rebate (no Loyalty). Not too shabby at all.

Are you talking with Tax and license? Great price!. It has been mathematically figured out for me at every angle posted elsewhere, that I paid the equivalent in the Seventeen's, but I stand with an $18.7 figure out the door price with package 3. Is package 3 worth the extra bucks, maybe not?. But if you play your cards right, and deal down, not up, you can wind up with the better Stereo & Moon Roof for little to no extra cost. It depends what unit you hop in for the test drive, and what unit(s) they need to sell!

TTL was another $400

(I traded in a 05 Saab 92x with 7k for it so taxes were low)
