Hi all! I'm new here and I have a question. I bought a used 1995 Elantra SE and I love it to pieces! I just had to have some work done on it which required removing the battery so that the anti-theft kicked in on the stereo. I have the code for the stereo, however, I punched it in wrong accidentally. How do I reset the thing so that I can re-enter the code the right way? Unfortunately, the person I bought it from didn't have the manual, so, I can't look it up and I've searched all over the 'net and can't find anything. Any help you all can give me would rock! Thanks in advance!

with my '94 i had 3 tries before it "ERROR" at me for an hour. you can hold the "BAND" button for 3-5 seconds to reset it to enter the code again.

Yo, I have a 1994 Elantra Gls and I had same issue. If you call a dealership and tell them the issue. They should ask you for the VIN. and then give you a 4 digit code that will unlock the stereo.
