I was looking in a website at parts available for the accent but they keep going on about LC / LC2 / X3 Accents - and I havn't got a clue what they're on about.

The address is http://www.performancestylingcentre.com.au/ - it's in Australia, but they do ship abroad and apparently have a good customer service center for those of you that are interested.

:( Does anyone know what they're on about?

I'm surprised no one has answered this in so long. Anyway... LC accent is basically 2000-2002 models. It may start at 2001 though, not sure. LC2 is the 2003+ with the 1.6L engine. And the X3 is the pre 2000 with the 1.5L I believe. Also, the 1.5L engines in the X3 are called the Alpha, the 1.5 (and 1.6 I think) in the LCs are the AlphaII, and the LC2 has the 1.6L AlphaIII. Hope this helped. B)

:D Cheers occultworks

That'll help me source more parts - I have also heard that in Australia the Pre-99 Accent is called the Excel.

 Why can't car manufacturer's keep the same names for different countries

Cheers Again - and I hope this helps those out there who were as confused as me
