It looks as if the long awaited mod is about to happen.I have had official notification that I will be contacted by the dealer within the next few days and the mod. will be carried out.
Great news and long overdue.I will be delighted to get a instant view on fuel consumption and hopefully get over the magic 30 MPG on a run.
Has anyone else had the good news yet or has my pestering Hyundai monthly paid dividends?

Hi Uktone

Yes have a look under the fuel consumption issue I had my letter too, although I had pestered them again this past weekend, this time with a rhyming letter but lets keep everything crossed that it will happen SOON !!!

It is a Great pity that a company the size of Hyundai has difficulty in communicating with its customers, we shouldn't have had to keep on at them for a solution to a problem over a product made by so large a company.

They should have had someone communicating with all the purchasers, keeping them up to date with the current situation at least a bi-weekly or even monthly.

The customer should never be left to continue complaining before getting an answer it is bad buisiness practice.

Oh well lets hope it is the resolution we have all been praying (pestering) for.

Regards

Same here, after badgering customer services last week i finally got a letter yesterday.
I do wish they would SAY they will improve fuel consumption instead of a "more user friendly representation of fuel consumption whilst driving" did this used to be called gobledegook????? :460:

Ukone and Vansav8r
Phone your dealers and check! I spoke to my nominated dealer yesterday, he knows he has the job to do! but has not received the parts from Hyundai yet! He also has a booked up service department.

But No Parts and we are well into our 2-3 weeks as per Hyundai !!! :w00t:
