I just bought a 2003 Sonata that came with a Hyundai Model 5064 AM/FM/CD car stereo.
Unfortunately, I didn't get a manual for the unit.

I've figured out what most of the button are for and what they do ... except for one feature.

There is a setting for "BEEP" which I can set to "ON" or "OFF" or to "2ND BEEP".
Can't identify what it does.

Any ideas???

On my car stereo - setting "BEEP" to on makes it make a "BEEP" whenever you change the source (Radio / CD / Tuner / Tape) - although you won't hear it with the stereo turned up too loud.

Try turning it on and then change the source, then try turning it off and see if it makes any difference.

It could also bee a security feature - some stereo's will beep at you shortly after you turn the engine off to remind you to remove the facia - the beep might be related to that.

Hope this helps.
