Had my 97 J2 Lantra up to 182 km/hr just out side Alice Spings, the K&N pod filter and Custom Extractors and sports muffler really make it a new car.
Can't wait to see what it will do with Forced induction :innocent:

Had my j2 99 lantra at 215km/h on f6 freeway.Stock standard except for bilstein gas shocks, a proper cold air induction,(not that air pod stuck in a hot engine bay ****, and exedy cbb hd clutch. (cushion brass button heavy duty)
This is a true indicated speed, reported to me by my girlfriend when i asked her.she was in passenger seat and i was driving too fast to look at speedo. i was trying to catch a mazda rx8 that flew by me.
Still have lantra done in excess of 200.000 kms in 7 years. driven hard, and considering that all thats been done is a few spark plugs, fuel and air filters, oil changes and a set of ignition leads and 2 timing belts in its life. it drives well doesnt miss a beat and has no oil leaks. now thats reliability

I've gone about 175 Km/hr too. And I think had I kept on, I could have touched 200 or so. But it wasn't an empty highway and I thought it wouldn't be safe to continue on at that speed. Specially since the car seemed to become a little unstable once I crossed 150 Km/hr.
