Hi!

I had the same problem after 100.000 kms.

I have overhauled fuel pump, injectors, turbo charger and air intake next to turbo charger and now is OK.

It was overheating because it was not getting enough fuel from the pump and not enough power from turbo charger.

Best regards.

Check the radiator cap, the little tabs can bend out and not hold as tight as they should.

I had this problem on my 2.5TD, running temp appeared normal, but it was slowly loosing water, until one day the temp guage shoots up. I was driving at 2000ft above sea lebel at the time and up a very steep hill.

Just tapped the tabs back with a small hammer, and was back to normal. I did get another cap straight after though.
