I am associate at hyundai motors. 2007 Tiburon- Same GK Line few minor changes 2008- Tiburon name will be dropped, Tuscani name will now take tiburon/coupe place. Will be based on few features* of HCD-8 concept just like every pre-production model. Sorry Can't comment on engine specs only that it will be v6. Interior features are very nice, but I can't comment on them as well. They also have a few features from the HCD-8 concept. Thanks sorry questions will not be answered. Just for future- The 2008 tiburon production model exterior features both the HCD-8 and GK line has a very exotic look.

As long as it's still affordable and reliable... I am going to lease a 2006 in the next few weeks for 2 years and buy a 2008 when it expires. I actually like the FWD idea. It's safer that way, especially as a light body vehicle you have much more skid control in inclement weather.
For example, I drove my chrysler concorde 3.6L v6, in the rain at over 140mph/240kph. I then coasted and never lost control on the wet surface. Front wheel drive.
I have lost traction in a rear wheel drive vehicle 2.1L I4 that was in a similar weight class to the tiburon on near dry pavement going only 80mph/135kph. And in none of these situations did i have to swerve or brake suddenly and I actually had better tires on the light vehicle.
Also, I know you cannot reply to this, but please consider.... a generator driven line of vehicles. I'll tell you more of the idea if you are not familiar, off-list. This is NOT hydrogen technology.
PS, if you have any openings for concept artists/illustrators let me know.. I have worked future systems on wheeled vehicles before and currently draw heavy equipment... also taking electronics classes all year to add to my product design repetroire.

QUOTE(james_cab @ Jul 26 2006, 05:01 PM) I liked the mods in the 5th picture! :P
Only change in and out that I saw was that there were no gills. Other than that, pretty much the same. That's good, my '05 will be in style until at least '08.
Head lights are diffrent, front fenders, tail lights, hood, front bumper, rear bumper. climate control, center console, rims I'm sure it would be possible to convert an 03 to the 07 style just like we can convert an 03 to an 05

Dude. If the car changed in 07 (however subtly) I wonder if they'll do a complete redesign in 08. I think I'm going to buy one of these 07s....man! Good catch on the link to the canadian driver page. you rule.

This newly refreshed look seems far less agressive than my '03 Tibby. I am a bit dissapointed. oh well. I'll either keep mine forever or eventually nab an 06 V6.

While the 07 has been on Hyundai's website for over a month, chug2k made his post almost a year ago. See the little date at the top (Jul 27 2006, 01:14 PM), that's when he posted.
