:) Hello. I am a new user of this forum.
I am very interested in knowing which ones are the best winter tires that will perform in an Accent 1.6 GL (185-60-R14). I am a little concerned about not having ABS on my car, which is a big disadvantage in the winter especially to stop and control my car on ice. I would appreciate tire brands, comments and experiences with the winter tires you have had in your Accent.
Thanks.

Absolute best snow tires are Nokian Hakkapellitta's they have beaten every other tire in comparison tests including the Blizzacks, X-Ice and Yoko's and they are not that much more than any other tire. I would seriously consider getting a set of 13" steel wheels for the winter (200 bucks from Canadian Tire) and run 155/80R13 tires. This gives you the advantage of having a narrower profile tire for cutting through the snow, makes the tires cheaper, and saves your alloy wheels. Anyway I would seriously consider the Hakkas they are awesome.
