what i mean is a site where someone has done the actual swap and wrote down each process in doing the swap. pics included would be nice too.

how about these... for mirages but **** similar to excels. the first one has a part for the excel with pics.

if these dont work it looks like you need an engine and gearbox (obviously), ECU from same year, wiring from same year and J1 elantra engine mounts. i hope that helps, im saving up for my conversion should be starting in a couple of months... November maybe? Looking forward to it but im gonna use the NA engine from the sonata. :grin:

try searching on ebay if you need some cheap replacement parts..i bought many car parts and accessories there including a lexus floor mats,,and its great..(IMG:style_emoticons/default/gitara.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/thumbsup.gif)
