Drives: 1999 Hyundai Atoz 1.0



1) Remove the ashtray
2) Remove the screw you can now see on the LEFT after removing the ashtray
3) Remove the blank(dummy) button at the top of the dash (left button)
4) Now look to the next button from the one you just removed, dont take that one out (the middle one). Take the one next to that out, so you're taking out the left and right buttons. One is a dummy, the other is a light switch I think.
5) Remove the screws you can see after taking the buttons out
6) Look all the way to the bottom of the car, where the brake pedal is, there is two wires, you will have to look carefully to see, unclip them from the holders(losen them)
7) Remove the wires coming from the two buttons you removed, and the middle one
8) You should now have enough room to take out your stereo

Hi NEWBIE - appreciate your instructions for removing fascia panel around stereo, but having removed said screws, something(S) seem to still hold it all in. does the heater fan knob have to come off too? If so, HOW ? Cheers, Lovejoy
