Today, after a decent rain storm, I noticed water drops on the inside read window of my 2005 Tucson - so I have a leak.
I am pretty sure that the window was closed and locked.
The leak point is top and dead center of the window.
Anyone else have this?
I shall be contacting the dealership tomorrow.
Regards Steve

Hi Steve
Have a look around the side airbag fordamp patches I had this issue last year and the problem was the sunroof was not fitted correctly.
After a couple of car washes the spare tyre well had quiet a bit of water in it.
hope this helps

I have the same problem with mine ('05 Tucson). First i noticed streaks on the window and then noticed actual water when it next rained. I took it to the dealership and they ran a high pressure water stream directly onto the area - nothing happened. We tried over and over for 30 minutes and still nothing.
I still have not noticed any water when it is actually raining. I always seem to notice small amounts of water only after it rains. And there are water streaks all over it now. My guess is that the rubber gasket around the window is faulty.
If anyone else notices this, please complain. Hopefully Hyundai will issue some sort of recall if enough people mention it.
If there is anyone in the Toronto area that has this problem, please contact me at fuqhard@hotmail.com I would love to approach one of the dealers as a group - that way if more than one person has this problem they may actually acknowledge it.

This is exactly the scenario I have .. expect it is English rain rather than Canadian rain :)
I will update my Dealer with this information.
Thanks. Steve

I'm not in Toronto, but Ohio, and I saw this once just after taking the veh thru one of those gas station car washes. Two small streaks just under the high brake lamp. I've not noticed it in the rain. I'm guessing the surfactancy of soapy water allowed some water to slip past the gasket, so when ever I wash it now I make sure to wipe the gasket w/clean water and make sure no soap dries up in that area. I also started wondering if maybe I caused a weak spot in the gasket from hanging that goofy tonneau cover hook on there a few times.

I have never hung anything from there and i noticed it. I have no idea what could be causing it. It happened yesterday after a long (all day) rain storm in the Toronto area. I haven't taken the Tucson through a car wash for a couple of weeks so that couldn't cause it. It is more noticeable when it is dark. I pick up a glare from outside lights and it is actually very annoying.
Steve, have you had any luck in getting it repaired?
