HELLO EVERYONE!

I'm from portugal, and maybe I will buy a 2003 still in warranty Hyundai Galloper.
Can anybody give me any comments about its reliability, off-road capabilities, etc...
The main off-road terrain I will use is the desert!

Thank you for any advice!!

Since 1999, I drive an 1999 Galloper V6 Auto, 150,000 kms now, all through the desert and other hot and dry places in the United Arab Emirates. The car has never failed me, even in 50C heat with air-con going full blast. Okay, the battery lasts only one year, but that's not a Hyundai thing. With tyres at very low pressure, I rarely get stuck in the sand, as long as you keep up the speed. I can recommmend it as a desert dune basher. And it is a considerate car too: I blew the radiator once, but then I was just one km from home. Can't ask for more than that! Enjoy your Galloper. Cheers Marcel
