Hi All

Very rarely when I do a lazy shift into 3rd gear the gearbox will jump out of gear. I've noticed that the cables from the gear lever can be adjusted. Will this fix my problem or is this bad tidings of expensive replacements that I can expect?

if the other gears engage properly then it is unlikely to be the cables, more likely to be a weak syncromesh on third gear, to cure that it will need a gearbox overhaul
