The average price for unleaded petrol for Perth, WA, Australia for the 1st of September 2005 is AU123.3c/L.

It's tipped to go up to about $1.35/L shortly, due to the cyclone that struck the southern part of the US recently, where most of the US oil refiniries are (IIRC).

Most stations in Victoria, BC, Canada, went up this morning from 111.9/litre to 120.9. Vancouver usually runs about $.03 higher.

In the UK average price per litre is now around £0.90, which I think works out around 1.95 CAD. It's an absolute joke!

Not to worry yanks , Canada will come to the rescue . Our Government just announced that they will be increasing oil shipments to the U.S. There will not be a production incease just permanent higher prices in Canada to encourage energy conservation by Canadians . I feel so warm and fuzzy inside , thanx Anne Mclelland .

Victoria is now back down to 117.9/litre - looking at what a lot of others are paying I feel like I'm getting a bargain.

Here in New Jersey in my area we're paying around $3.15 a gallon and thats the lowest price, I believe, in my area.
:( :crying: I wish it would stop. Ever since I bought my first car prices have been rising. I remember the good ol' days of $0.98 a gallon. :00000715:

I live in Montana, and Our gas in some places are $3.09/gal some are $2.99, somre are $3.03...lots of differences to choose from, but either way...I definitely know I'm getting a better deal than a LOT of places in America, thank God for Montana.

Xiti

P.S. Only problem is my car has a crack in the gas tank and I don't have the $805.00 to fix it...so If I put a full tank in my car a quarter of the tank drains out. I'm getting ready to jack it up and have a good friend of mine weld it up for me.

be very careful, dont attempt to do any repairs to your gas tank unless you have it very thoughly steam cleaned out first, this can be highly dangerous

Hi everybody, the fuel's price on El Salvador as of September 8 is:

Regular Gas: $3.08 per gallon
Super Gas: $3.20 per gallon
Diesel: $2.70 per gallon.

Can you believe that just one year ago the price was around $1.75 ?? :00000715:

Hi Everyone
As of 11 September 2005

Petrol is £4.49 per Imperial Gallon (4.54 litres) about $8.08 US@ $1.8=£1
Diesel :( £4.72 per Imperial Gallon(4.54 Litres) about $8.5 US @ $1.8=£1

Still rekon we are being well and truly STUNG by our government and our GOVERNMENT is governed by what the USA say or Do so it will keep on going up here otherwise how the heck do we repay the good old USA for the dollars they loaned us over 60 years ago. (Its about time that loan was cancelled or capped as we must have repaid it over and over again don't you think?)

Sorry I'm just a disgruntled UK Citizen who has recently given up smoking (Grunt)
and who cannot see anything to be pleased about lately.

Really am sorry for all the USA citizens of New Orleans and that area though it looks like they really went through the grinder. Global warming has a lot to answer for eh.
Regards
