Here is another independent study on oil filters. This guy is an engineer and races small Mopars. Its got a ton of info and tells what filter brands are made by the same companies. You cannot just go by the name on the filter.

IVE SPUN OFF OVER A HUNDRED OEM OIL FILTERS IN THE LAST TWO YEARS AND I HAVE SEEN MANY LEAKING NON OE FILTERS BUT VERY FEW OEM OIL FILTERS.
ON ONE OCCASION I SPUN A FRAM FILTER OFF A 2003 BETA ENGINE AND THE FILTER CASING (WHERE A PRESSURE RELIEF VALVE USUALLY RESIDES) WAS ENTIRELY DISTORTED FROM WHERE OIL PRESSUE HAD OVERCOME THE STRUCTURE!!! IT WAS wonderful with blooming Flowers (Mod Edited)MY ADVISE TO YOU ALL IS USE OEM FILTERS ONLY!

YOU BEEN WARNED
