I have a 2001 Galloper diesel, witch suddenly refuesed to start!

It turns the engine, but it does not start. The timing belt is ok, and nothing seems to be wrong.

The conclusion is that it does not get fuel to the engine, that we think is because the key has somehow been decoded and does not send the code to the fuel mechanism.

I could start it yesterday suddenly and it ran fine, but when I tried to do that again it did not start !!!

Has anyone had this problem before or do anyone know how to fix this ???

two possible points, firstly as you pointed out is the engine imoblizer but it is unlikely that should suddenly go wrong, most common thing is the ignition stop switch fitted on the injector pump, when you switch off the ignition the power supply to the pump is stoped by this switch thus stopping the engine, when the ignition is switched on the switch allows fuel back into the pump. if you look at the injector pump you will see the switch which is about the size of a cotton reel with a wire attached to the top of it, if you remove this switch you will find a spring and plunger inside it, remove the spring and plunger and refit the switch, if the engine now starts then thats the problem (you will have to stall the engine to stop it)

Do not worry, I had the same problem with my Galloper.

The problem, is that injection pump is not getting electricity to pump fule.

Reason may be the following: fuse failure, pump electric wire jack failure, wire failure, relay failure between lock and pump, immobilizer failure.

My failure was pump jack failure and damaged electric wire due to alarm installation.

Best regards.
