About 3 weeks ago my husband ® did the 60,000 mile maintenance, including flush/refill radiator. A few days later I tried a/c for the first time. It came on fine, but after a few minutes starting blowing hot air. Temperature guage is running higher than usual (over the 1/2 way mark, often up to 3/4). It used to run all the time under the 1/2 way mark. Yesterday morning I tried the a/c to clear my windows, and it wouldn't come on at all. R discovered coolant level was low in radiator, so he topped it off and the a/c came on fine. On the way home I tried a/c and it worked fine for about 10 minutes then started blowing hot air again. I've been smelling anti-freeze intermittently during all of this. And, the oddest thing, yesterday evening while I had the a/c on my clock lost half-an-hour. R plans on replacing thermostat Friday (I'm stuck driving the Expedition until my Hyundai's fixed), but a bad thermostat wouldn't explain the clock getting goofy. Anyone have any idea what could be causing these problems?

the coolant smell indicates a coolant leak. Take the car back to the place you had it flushed, A N D B I T C H about the shotty work. the car was ok before, and should be ok still. 10:1 the mechie didn't tighten someting well enough.
