Hello yes I new at all of this stuff, I have the R34 body kit in the garare and I am going to have it put on soon , is it easier to put it on myself or have someone else do it. Also I know of some trimming that needs to be done to the sides of the kit. I do not have new shoes for my car yet, but that is coming , I know that I want 5 spoke , smoky gunmetal for the rims, and I want 16s or 17s low profile, any suggestions for the shoes would be nice, and what would I need to to do to my suspension for the R34 kit to keep it from being too low...Too low for me is a 1-1/2-3 inches ...3-5 would be perfect ground clearence all around..

thanks guys ..... :offtopic:

To make things easier on you, having the kit installed by a body shop would be the best idea. Plus if something goes wrong, it's thier fault not yours!! :D But one question, where did you find the kit? Thanks and Good Luck.

Hi :) ,

As Nauticus said, get the kit installed at a workshop. Maybe the mob that sold you the kit could recommend someone?

Surely they would have a suspension solution as well? If you bought the kit from the crew in Calif., they should have one available.

As for tyres, my personal bias says anything with "Bridgestone" and "Potenza" on the side. Quiet, smooth, very grippy wet or dry and most importantly, round!(A lot of tyres are less than uniform in their construction, that is, they are slightly out of round. Yer gets what yer pays fer).

I've tried a few brands and wont drive on anything else, now.

Obviously your roads may be a little different to Aussie tarmac, so find a "no-bullshit" tyre dealer.

Good fortune,

Andrew B) .
