Great choice. The 09's and 10's have the best interior of all the NF's. Did you get the Popular Equipment Package? It's a steal and you get the audio controls, leather steering wheel, power seat, etc. Where did you get it from?

I didn't get the popular equipment either when I was buying mine. Wanted to save a little more cash. Gray is a nice color btw. The 4cyl in this car is pretty peppy for sure.

You did good, most dealers don't give loaner cars and free oil changes. The 2.4 is plenty peppy, it's got more pep than the V6's from the 80's ad 90's. I got mine from Atlantic, I know the GM so he gave me a good deal and gives me loaners the couple of times I brought it in for thins I couldn't do at home. BTW, if you're a DIY'er the best oil filter for our 2.4's is the Purolator 14459, it's made as well if not better than the OEM Hyundai filter, stay away from Frams, they suck.

Congrats on the new car. . . just curious though why you got rid of your '07 V6 for the '10 I4? I had a 2010 I4 as a loaner when my car was in the shop and while it was nice (and I liked the interior more) I wouldn't have traded my car for it. Now if I had a '11 as a loaner. . . well I might be singing a different tune. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/whistling.gif)

People like buying new toys. That's how US economy is made. That's why our shopping centers are loaded on weekends. You just wanted to pamper yourself. Which is OK, as long as you stay in the family.

I have a seat belt chime but no door chime on my 2010 limited. The little red guy wearing a seat belt flashes just to the right of the clock, each time he flashes I get a chime.

But everybody's emphasizing smaller engines these days as they scramble to comply with tough new regulations. Hyundai, for instance, won't offer a V6 option on its new Tucson compact crossover or its redesigned Sonata midsize family sedan. Both are only available with four-cylinder engines. But, says Hyundai, they'll get great gas mileage: 31 mpg for Tucson on the highway and 35 for Sonata.

I now have a collector's item - a smokin' hot V6!!!!!

Amen:

I see the Hyundai ads everynite pushing gas mileage - I guess that translates into no V-6's.

Are they gone altogether?

In northern Virginia, the name of the game is SUV's and "show" trucks the size of a house****. The six comes in real handy.

Hyundai claimed they're scrapping the V6 for the Sonata 'cause the NF model was mostly sold with the I4 engine. As much as I find my I4 plenty powerful, Hyundai's claim seems STRANGE to me.... Unless their newer direct-injection I4 engine is so much more powerful it's comparable the existing V6.....
