Last week my wife phoned Hyundai uk about the £50 M&S vouchers they were sending out, asking where ours were as we had to wait 6 months before taking delivery of my i20.

I have just taken a phone call from a lady in their call centre letting me know that we will NOT be getting any vouchers as the people who got them were chosen at random & also informed me that Hyundai customer services will not answer emails or phone calls - but did we want the address to write to for them to ignore that as well - another pr feau pas I believe as if foghorn leghorne the MD can come out in the press saying he wants to keep his customer base gained from the scrappage deal he has lost this one already - when I am in a position to change this car - IT WILL NOT BE FOR ANOTHER HYUNDAI - thank you, rant over !

I think you misunderstood bizzay1 in what he said KDC, he said they never had the vouchers. Well to be accurate, he did say "asking where ours were".......

Anyway bizzay1 I do not think it is a rant at all but a quantified complaint. Hyundai must have limited customer service expertise if they sent vouchers to a random sample of customers and left other folk out. Do they think we would not find out and not feel miffed? We are still waiting for our Hyundai but I am beginning to think we should pull the plug on the order if that is typical of how they treat customers.
