Never really settled with my i20, due to reasons stated:-

Poor fuel economy (43mpg mixed), even though I'm a slow driver. No where near the 54 stated. Very disappointing!!

Hard suspension, little bumps, feel very big.

Low front bumper clearance.

Constant dash rattles (as from new).

Hate the aircon coming on automatically, when you just want heaters only.

Wheel trims, killer to clean.

Front windscreen (inside), always misting/freezing up.

Being hyper-critical, very boring gear knob on classic models.

Expensive main dealer servicing.

Sold my i20, now gone back to Vauxhall (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

KDC,
Around Ģ8,000. As I did a straight swap for a Vauxhall, after a little haggling. Paid Ģ7,300 for i20 under scrappedge scheme. The car I part exchanged then, was worth around Ģ700. So all in all, didn't really lose out.
The main two reasons for me changing my i20, are poor fuel economy & firm suspension ride. Less body roll with firmer suspension, just find it a bit tiring on b roads, Great on motorways.
Personal choice, I suppose.

Never really settled with my i20, due to reasons stated:-

Poor fuel economy (43mpg mixed), even though I'm a slow driver. No where near the 54 stated. Very disappointing!!Great fuel economy, but mine is a diesel.

Hard suspension, little bumps, feel very big.Yeah, the suspension is pretty hard, but my other car is much worse

Low front bumper clearance.Yep, iīve done some snow ploughing

Constant dash rattles (as from new). No, not a sound so far.

Hate the aircon coming on automatically, when you just want heaters only. I donīt care.

Wheel trims, killer to clean.I donīt have alloys yet

Front windscreen (inside), always misting/freezing up.About the same as my previous Suzuki Swift

Being hyper-critical, very boring gear knob on classic models.I have some chrome on mine.

Expensive main dealer servicing.Free service for 3 years unlimited miles

Sold my i20, now gone back to Vauxhall (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) I used to have an new Opel. A total pos, overheating, battery dead after one week, drivers seat loose, rust, cardboard interior, but i guess they must be better nowadays because they still exist.
