HI, we have a fleet of i30's, we replace the low beam bulbs about every 2 weeks, they blow one at time as they dont blow at the same time, the Warrnty guys have no answer and just keep replacing them. The charge rates seem to be ok and nothing else is effected other than the low beam bulbs. Any Ideas?

Obviously there's a short someplace in the wires, the harnesses, the switch, or the relay. If the dealer can only replace the bulbs, then I'd escalate the problem. Don't you have a "lemon law" in AUS? Or maybe you could call Hyundai consumer affairs down there?

There is proper troubleshooting procedure for that, there's no excuse for a dealer to replace the bulbs that many times. Is there another dealer you can take it to?

I have the regional Hyundai Manager involved, our local mechanics dont want to play with it at this time as it may void Warranty etc. You would think for new cars they wouldnt have this problem!

I would be checking out the earths Also Found an i30 with the battery negative lead to the body faulty, needed to remove battery to find where it fastened to body. Cleaned under connection and tightened it, everything worked OK after this.
